One Million Kisses For Charly

Meet Charly who is 2 yrs old. I'd move heaven and earth just to see her smile that innocently again.

But now she is a recovering victim. Now she has nightmares and cloudy moments when she is gripped with fear and doesn't want anyone to get near her.

She needs a lot of love. For a lot of nice folks to tenderly send her some kisses. Read on to find out how you can touch her life by purchasing advertisment for your business or cause for a mere $5 fee.

Charly was abducted from her bed in her once happy princess bedroom very early one morning. She WAS, thank God returned. Because of the circumstances surrounding her ordeal her parents immediately moved to another town for their safety and now must start over finding a new home and new jobs.

Charly's parents have had it rough from the day they met and fell in love but they ARE very much in love so they go on with hope that beauty will rise up from the ashes of this traumatic experience. They go on for their children and for each other. Charly IS going to be okay with a lot of love and time that heals and fades. They are making sure she gets the help she needs.

So I am asking you Dear Reader, to send your prayers and well wishes and a kiss their way to help them give their two children a blessed new chance at life. A life every child deserves. They need a fresh start - especially for Charly's sake.

I am believing God for Charly to receive a million kisses! Thank you and may the Lord's face shine upon you ~ Carol

We love you Charly bug!

Thursday, November 20th - an update

Thank you dear sponsors for all the love and kisses you've sent Charly and her family's way!
Today they are resettled, moving on with life. Charly doesn't have nightmares anymore. She is still leery of any stranger. It is sad that their world became so very much smaller because of that day. Very. Her parents only let the closest of family and friends into their lives anymore. It has to be that way.

We choose to continue to go public with what happened to Charly for good reason.

One, we don't want her to ever feel that she has to keep it bottled up inside of her. To feel ashamed. She will never be made to feel that way by us!

And two, NOW the battle is advocacy. Raising awareness to change laws to make it harder on the perp and easier on the victims. It's still the other way around I'm afraid! The kisses today continue to bless this family in taxable dollars but know this, that we have become advocates for change! We not only want laws changed but we want public servants to be required to KNOW the laws and act accordingly rather than destroy a case in their ignorance.

We have a new crime also to battle. Her aunt was assaulted and battered by an ex-boyfriend recently. Again we choose to use what happened for GOOD. To raise awareness, to fight for change. This time we will actually get our day in court. Pray for us to win justice! This is a repeat offender we've learned.

That is another thing, don't be naive, don't be hesitant to check out someone who comes into your child's life no matter how grown up they are now. If you sense something isn't right check HIM or HER out! Background checks are easy to obtain today!

It's a different world we live in now. God is for us and not against us. He gives us the measure of faith and the strength to overcome. We choose to let hope and to let love win and we go on. Never give up.

We welcome your stories also. Together we can make a difference!

Love,
Carol

I just realized I never commented here. My prayers are with Charly and her family. I've already bought one kiss and I will be buying an ad in the next couple of days. God Bless you for doing all this. You are an angel here on earth!
