What began as a project of love for children at Christmastime through her job as an EMS worker in California and as a reserve officer in the sheriff's department to bless them with jewelry she made for them and remains a labor of love for children to this day has also blossomed into a satisfying and lucrative business for Darlene beyond her retirement.



She lies awake at night dreaming up new designs and I suspect, even gets back up during the night to work like the Shoemaker's Elves to please those children and to build an evergrowing ever satisfied clientelle.
