i double dare you!

Hey y'all, these are my peeps! And this is the game: You go, you browse the seller's stores or listings and you bid on or buy something from one of them. They in turn check out your listings or just get to know you as a buyer. It's all about fellowship and comraderie. It's a blast!

Many run a special deal in their stores during the game. That's the BEST part for savvy shoppers!

On Ebay click on Community and look on the list for Blogs. When you get there type "Double Dare" or "DD" in the search and you can find the game.

Or click on the hosts above to go straight there during the time slots listed. Feel free to drop in anytime during the games!

Or click HERE to see all the players postings during the game.

Again, you do not have to be selling items on Ebay to play! You can join just to browse, shop and get to know the sellers there. You'll be glad you did!

Tell them that Solicity Sock Monkey told you to come and play.

Come hang out and learn about the other games they play there on the Ebay blogs. It's a great way to grab a good bargain!

Ecrater is a great place to find great stuff too! Check my store "Over The Decades" out there. I carry lots of character collectibles and many things vintage and unusual and sought after. If you'd like a coupon contact me! So come on and shop on "the Moon" otherwise known as "0" for short. :0)

Crochet Patterns You've Been Searching For

Solicity Sock Monkey presents...

The Who's Who on Ebay Blog

This Ebay seller is cleaning out her very extensive library of craft patterns. Crochet pattern booklets especially. rambunrose is 83 and she is my momma. She has been accumulating them for decades so believe me, she probably has the pattern you've been looking for!

So bookmark this seller to your favorites and stay tuned!

ramblunrose still crochets and embroiders daily and here is one tiny example of her work. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to commission her to make something special for you.

Actually we are a family of crafting talents. If it's a tole painted item or a certain quilt you are wanting made I can put you in touch with my sister Betty who is an expert at both. And I am obsessed with embroidering and sewing heirloom quality items also suitable for your daughter's hope chest or for you to enjoy right now in your home.

I'll work up an album to show off our many talents.
We do a limited amount of commission pieces each year.

Tole Painting (gourds, furniture, primitives, other)
Crochet work - yarn and thread (lace edgings, afghans, doilies, doll clothing, etc)
Embroidery (quilt blocks, pillowcases, dish towels, aprons)
Quilting (quilts in patchwork and applique, classic and contemporary)
Sock Monkey Dolls

We also do mural painting in your home or business here in the West Virginia and Ohio area. The Mid Ohio Valley surrounding Parkersburg, WV.

You can see an Irish Pillowcase set that I embroidered and crocheted the luscious lace edging onto here.

And check out my other blog that includes more examples of my work and includes FREE PATTERNS.

This seller:
a_ lil_elf
is letting go of many of her private collections that she aquired from estate auctions and antique malls over the next few weeks.

She simply wants the fun of going on the hunt again and needs to make more room in her curio cabinets and shelves.

I've admired many of the pieces she is parting with for years so stayed on top of this seller's listings!
